Ruée à Hué [print on wood]

I took this photography on a road trip in Vietnam in 2010. These fish were in the pond of the Imperial Palace of Hué, and started to massively come out of nowhere as someone was feeding them. I really love this photograph and the crazy amount of energy and dynamic that comes with it.

The print was made at a local shop in Bangkogk where my dad lives. The picture get printed directly on a piece of wood, painted black on the back, with a hook at the top to hang it on a wall. As it’s a natural material and a unique piece, please don’t expect it to be ‘industrially perfect’ 🙏.
