2020 is almost over…

…and this is what I’ve been up to!

Oh hello you!

I hope that you are doing fine <3

Long time no see ๐Ÿ™‚

I know, it’s been a tough year. Lots of downs and a very few ups. But guess what, it’s almost over! Before to happily say goodbye forever to 2020, here are some news about what I’ve been up to for this past year/six months.

Re-connecting with what made me start Maskarades in the first place, I’ve launched a few new collections that I have handcrafted myself. This newsletter is solely about these items. To see my whole e-shop, click here:

Quote necklaces

I had a lot of fun creating these necklaces in which I’ve put my latest inspirations: a mix of shameless feminism and buddhist relativism. I’m also open to custom orders, should you have something specific in mind!

Multi-pendants necklaces

One pendant is cute, but five or seven? Even better! In love with this ‘trend‘, I’ve made a few multi-pendants necklaces myself. More to come – I’ve already drawn many new designs on my sketchbook. Stay tuned!

Chakras wall hangings

Another creation coming from one of my latest inspirations: the chakras. As I’m practicing reiki every day since a few months, I’ve started to experience their abilities and use. There is still A LOT for me to learn, but I couldn’t help myself making this garland already – available in two sizes (medium and large) with normal or crystals chain.

Spell jar necklaces

I have only a small balcony, but god knows how packed it can be ๐Ÿ™‚ At the end of every summer, I end up with lots of flowers – let it be from basil, mint or lavender. That’s how these necklaces were born and are filled.

Talking about inspirations, it was inevitable that the universe of taromancy arrives in my creations. It is actually surprising it took me so long!

Tarot jewelry

For this brand new collection of rings, necklaces and bracelets I’ve used the restored Tarot de Marseille of Camoin and Jodorowsky. Even though I find other tarot and oracle decks cute, there is only one to me, and this is it. The collection is pretty new but it already counts many pieces – plus more on the way!

Tarot home dรฉcor

For this wall dรฉcor, I used tarot cards from the Smith-Waite tarot deck, whose design I particularly love. The antique frames were given to me by my 78-year old neighbor and upcycled in golden glitter. At the moment there is only one of these left (โ€ข๐šƒ๐™ท๐™ด ๐š‚๐š„๐™ฝโ€ข), but I’ll be making more shortly – with 100% biodegradable glitter, and still on upcycled frames!

Last but not least, there is a special project, not Maskarades-related, on which I spent quite some time and energy lately. Seeing how the pandemic has impacted many, I’ve voluntarily created an online guide gathering small businesses and artists of Berlin to offer them more visibility and -hopefully- more solvability!
